Hopefully the patch comes soon after release before its too late. That would be great.

Patches =/= fixes.
LBP, SSFIV, but also other games have received different patches to improve the game, add content, etc.
Well this is good to read :). I am definitely buying this!

That's probably why I typed "fixed or improved" and had that followed by asking if that's normal for such a game. I guess LBP also had several patches to improve its editor, but I am not sure about that. Hence why I asked in the first place. |
Not sure it was the editor. But we did get a water patch, gun patch and loads of tweaks to the menus, together with improved online performance.
SSFIV will be adding a free create tournament thing as DLC. Looking forward to that!
So I was wondering where that crowd who were 'clearly' very upset by the game that's on a console they don't have is having load issues went? I'm sure there will be more complaints about god knows what next but it's kinda funneh to me
Anyways knew this would happen anyways, so pretty much the 'only' issue many reviewers had will be fixed with this, maybe they should have waited a bit longer
Day one or rather end of the month or so cuz of exams but yea HIGH HIGH on my list

It's not always possible to look ahead and see what needs fixing though, and in a game designed for online play and level sharing, you are bound to come across issues with the community that you wouldn't find in closed testing or in a beta.
lol to those who complain about load times do me a favour get a c64 with tape deck and see how fast games load, i think you will find it is a lot slower than modern day technology;)
anyway on topic this is brilliant news:):)

I find these arguments really weird. Isn't the whole point of modern technology that we shouldn't have to live with the faults of the old technology?

lol i know i was just saying it is not as bad as everyone makes out, granted small loading times is great, and in a sense you are right but sometimes i feel that people use things like this as an excuse to bash certain games ;);)

True. It's also a legitimate criticism for some though.
