Modern Warfare 2 was suprisingly good to me - good story.
Besides that one... KZ2 could have been much better, specially if it had Split-Screen... Resistance 2 perhaps.
Since PC doesn't follow exactly the same way in generations, I'd say Half-Life 2 absolutely counts. Yes, it was released on the previous gen Xbox, but it was also heavily gimped in the process. And as it's been continued through this generation with Episodes 1 & 2, with Episode 3 announced but not even released yet, it's absolutely current-gen.
So, yes. Half-Life 2.
Also Portal and Borderlands. I mean, I've sunk 40+ hours of gameplay in the Borderlands single-player game. Not many games can pull that off.
