I have to agree with Greg's last sentence. I mean it's true that the PS3 as some decent games coming out in 2008 but for Christmas 2007, there's just not much to the console yet. The only good games on the PS3, in my opinion, are R&C and Resistance, both made by Insomniac.

I mean you can't disagree with the fact that the 360 has a big advantage over the PS3: Halo 3. It's their biggest beast, and yeah, everyone is playing it or will be getting it for Christmas.

Let's just wait and see how the PS3 will do for this Christmas.

Uncharted and Folklore are also amazing games, they're just too niche (especially Folklore) not to mention new IPs, thus they don't sell that well.

I wanted to watch some more until I saw it was IGN and featured geekboy, the same guy that has been in my sig for ages. I'd like to make clear I have no clue what they said and have no interest in it.

A uninteresting video sponsored by MS, nintendo, sony or whoever paid for IGN's opinions this time. Perhaps that geekboy should pay for a makeover with his money one day and also get a "I am a bitch"tattoo. Ign is filled with commercial whores who would sell their momma for a dollar and it's a shame so many people think it's a credible source.

Perhaps these sad days need the return of the independent Gamershell podcasts in which they attack and praise without worrying if their sponsor might like that.

Yeah, I actually watch the craptacular "Attack of the Show" so I got to see this. It was the only time in a couple of months that I actually paid attention to it. Normally, I'm surfing or doing homework at the same time. They actually made some really good points, and I'm so happy to finally have all the Sony hate die down... at least a little bit.

Won't be a huge christmas for the PS3, I'm sure, but the next one will be massive by any measure!

The PS3 right now has a lot of great games .Things like Uncharted ,Ratchet and Clank ,Assasins Creed ,Call of Duty 4 ,Resistence ,Oblivion GOTY ,Virtua Fighter 5 ,Colin Mc Rae DIRT ,Rock Band ,Guitar Hero III ,Motorstorm ,Warhawk ,Heavenly Sword ,PES 2008 (already patched),GRAW2 ,Rainbow Six Vegas ,The Darkness.... and literally dozens of good games as Conan ,Lair ,Medal of Honor Airborne ,Timeshift ,Sega Rally ,Folklore ,Eye of Judgement ,WWW Smackdown ,Stranglehold ,The Simpsons ,Time Crisis 4 ...

That already good game library and the price drop will for sure assure the PS3 a good christmas .In NA maybe even having a good christmas it will be overshadowed by the Wii and 360 but in Europe and Japan the story will be totally different and this will be the first christmas the PS3 rules does territories .
