looks like we got 'Wii'ggles here working @ sony cause they seem to be so sure that it's gonna cost $200+,funny thing is you dont hear them bitch about how the their waggle mote being expensive too...

What's my incentive for getting Move if I have a Wii already? I'm obviously not going to sell my Wii to get Move because I want the games on the Wii, not to mention there are already a shit ton of shovel wares to choose from on the Wii already! I'm not going to spend the money just so I can play UC3 with it when DS3 works just fine or spend money on a party games that wastes the space of blu-ray which would give me heart attacks at night when I even dream about it. People who already have a Wii pretty much have no incentive to get Move. Not to mention I got my Wiimotes for like 15 bucks each because I'm awesome at shopping.

Look Im not forcing you or the others to buy PSmove in fact im not getting one, what im saying here is this is not official at all yet you got fanboys already whinning as if it's already confirmed to be sold at this price without the navigator or ps eye or a game with it therefore it should be $200 all in all. None of these are confirmed at all for all we know PSmove+navi+1game could be bundled for $60 or $70? but nooooo that never crossed their minds because "teh PSmove has to fail" the only thing that comes to their heads is how to make it look bad in every possible way in this case make it look expensive without official confirmation of the price.......

Not to go off topic, but anyone know what kind of battery life the Move controllers will have? I only ask because they are using bluetooth and the light at the top which seems like it may be a power drain.

It looks like from the pictures they are using double A batteries (has a possible battery compartment). This is probably smart since you can't charge more than 2 things at once on most PS3's and without regular battery support you could have a big headache on your hands with all the charging and swapping of up to 2-4 DS3's and 2-8 Move's.

Wait?

So it will cost you $120.00 to play the Bow & Arrow game they showed? (minus game cost)

Also other games that require two glowing balls

<-- Two Glowing Balls

A tad expensive...

It costs $54.99 (without tax) PER DualShock 3 controller, no body complains about that?

So if you want to play with your friends/siblings, and you wanted to buy two controllers and a game.

It would cost you ~$120, MINUS the game.

Did the word "bundling" ever come across your mind when you made that post?

I simply implied that this is a tad expensive and it is.

My 60gig PS3 came with a PS3 remote (Yes I complained that I had to pay $599.99 for it), and last I checked I did not have to buy another one so I can play some games, nor do I remember holding two controllers in my hand. I did complain tho, after I bought another Six Axis; then a few days later news of the DS3 were coming out, and I wasn't the only one, so ya people did complain. Also two $54.99 DL3 = $109.98 not $120.00.

I have a camera, when I bought Eye of Judgement, but regardless, your going to tell me that $ony is going to bundle as follows:

I mean if I get all 5 items for $99.00 then ya it's a deal, but thats not what $99.00 will get me.

The bundle will most liky include:

Meaning I will still have to pay $59.99 for another Glow Ball.

Now what about two player games? then I have to buy 4 Glow Ball Remotes?

You completely ignored what I said about buying multiple controllers.

I said (~)$120 which means approximate.

Why would you EXPECT it to be cheaper anyways? We don't live in the time where things come around so cheap anymore, ESPESCIALLY in the gaming industry, where you're paying $60+ tax for a game.

If you think over $100 is "expensive" then you've got another thing coming..

Again, I couldn't care if it was $60, it's like buying a regular controller.

WTF are you talking about? I didn't ignore anything you typed, I replied to everything.

Why would I expect it to be cheaper? Um.. because another company already has almost the EXACT Same Controllers for cheaper, and no need for a camera, I mean you can use two candles with the competitions controllers....

Yes $100.00 is expensive, if I still need to spend more then $100.00 in-order to play some games, TWO Glowing Ball Controllers (HELLO) Thats $60.00 more, now tack on a TWO PLAYER GAME.. talk about not reading someones reply....

Lets see... having a Mortgage, Insurance for everyone/everything, grocery bills, car payments, phone bills, electric bills, doctor bills, tv bills, water bills, taxes, saving for kids college, and then try and talk to me about "If you think over $100 is "expensive" then you've got another thing coming.." because OBVIOUSLY you have no idea how expensive $100 is when you have bills.

So... you don't mind buying a system, then buying extra controllers for your new system, then months down the road buying a new set of controllers that cost more then the controllers you previously bought? thats interesting....

Quick side track question, were do you work?

Thank you very much!  Although only 10 hours between USB chargings seems like a rather short time.  What kind of batter life does a DS3 get or a Wiimote for comparison?

If it's priced the same as a regular controller that's very reasonable. Unfortunately like others are saying the cost of the eye toy and sub controller and the fact some games will need two will price them out of the casuals they are targeting.
I think they will sell well but won't be in huge numbers.
How will they let gamers know when a game needs two? Don't want grandma buying a present only for it to be unplayable.

Of course this is a rumour and we'll find out in a few weeks.

4 player games = 8 glowballs?

The less functional the controller the lower the price should be. Sony should price the Move controller same as the Wiimote and the Sub controller same as the Nunchuck.

It is just too expensive imo.

How much would it be for two controllers and two nunchucks and a camera then?

I agree, this is too much if they want it to be a commercial success.

There is really no reason for Natal to cost 100 bucks nor is there incentive for MS to charge it at that price when they want mass adoption.  The difference with Natal then with MS other add on is that MS doesn't seek mass adoption of those devices.  We already pretty much have a understand of all the hardware pieces for Natal and they are cheap.  MS could sell the device for 50 bucks and still receive a small profit.  Since MS took out the hardware chip within Natal, the 50 dollar prices is even more obtainable.

Personally I believe Natal will sell for 59.99 come bundled with that breakout game and some demos
