I have to post this here, because I think it's an awesome boss battle theme:

However... the boss battle themes are all great.

I'm not saying that FF main series are bad. But the fact is that the series has been deteriorating for years. Even if recent FFs have good stuff going for them does not mean it's going to get better anytime soon, specially if SE continues with its spin-off whoring ways of the name.

Final Fantasy spin-offs are not new and exclusive to Square-Enix, Squaresoft did it as well. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Final Fantasy Mystic Quest, Final Fantasy Adventures (Seiken Densetsu 1), Final Fantasy Tactics, the Chocobo series and the SaGa series (had some major tie-ins with Final Fantasy) all were launched during Squaresoft's time.

Plus saying that the series isn't going to get better is a bit off a wild hunch. No one can say, at this time, what the future holds for FF, as it's a series that changes from each new game.

One of my favrite scene in FF (eidolon parade in chapter 8):

My top 5

1. FFX
2. FFX-2
3. FFVII
4. FFXII
5. FFIV

I haven't finished XIII yet but it might break the top 5 depending on how the ending turns out (just got to Gran Pulse)

I don't know any other franchise that keeps reinventing itself with such amazing results over and over again. Cheers for SE =)

Edit: oh, and it has some of the best music in video games.

Yeah I know . I just hate the missconception that most people commonly associate with FF and S-E. That being the fact that S-E did not start the FF spin-offs trend and the overall lower quality of those spin-offs in comparison with the main series.

This is a cutscene I really liked (its not my favorite in the game, not even in my top 10 FF cut scenes) but its quite touching in parts, funny & cheesy, but I like cheesy!

...............I consider this the absolute WORST cutscene in the game.
