I was reading a vgchartz news and it said "the human body has 4 fingers and one thumb (...)", and then I remembered of having a long discussion with a friend of mine about the thumb being or not a finger.

I think that we have 5 fingers in each hand.

The arguments for it not being a finger all seem to be biological/medical, but in medicine it's thumb = DI, index finger = DII etc.

Anyway, I grew up thinking I have 10 fingers so I'll leave anything less to the yakuza or something like that.
