There's a few games I bought because I got caught up in the hype on these threads (which I mostly regret) but the only ones I can think of which I bought on specific recommendations:

Grey Acumen/Words of Wisdom: Fire Emblem:RD - Awesome. Love it. Love it.
RadioioRobert: My Fitness Coach - Good as I was lead to believe. Quite happy with it.

arr, been awhile but if i recall.

outlaw - valkyria chronicles = loved it.

musical - lbp = decent.

serverance - FFVI = okay (still like VII more though)

kowen - Halo ODST = fair

seece - Prince of Persia (Magical one) = Fantastic!

annnd...

euphoria - 3Dotgameheros = looks fun in a retro meets current day kinda way.

forget the rest form round' here, only recall the bulk from the hawaiin gamer forums or gamespot. :/
