Well they are in different genres but Heavy rain may just catch up eventually to the 360 version of ME2. However overall ME2 will sell the most since it also has pc sales.

this is interesting.... heavy rain sales are already good enough for a new IP...
i think we should compare the sales with Mass Effect 1 though...

I'm suprised ME2 is selling so badly after initial hype went off.

The PC version is stealing from the 360's.
so people actually like the idea of a game like heavy rain? where you watch most of it.

I assume so, as metal gear solid is much that way too. With lots of watching. (And Is my second favorite series) There's lots of movements you do in heavy rain. (Atleast what I've played)

I'm gonna say no. Also, Mass Effect 2 is likely to see a price cut before Heavy Rain.

Yup the PC version is at like 4 million +, didn't Bioware say they shipped 6.6 million?! Or was it a typo ...

It was 6.6 millions for Mass Effect + Mass Effect 2, but it shows that somehow the PC versions managed to sell almost 3 millions, while the X360 versions only sold 3.85mil at the time.
There's no doubt in my mind that Mass Effect 2 is selling more on PC than on X360 right now. PC games tend to for years, and ME2 still hasn't dropped in price.
The Mass Effect franchise will definitely sell more on PC than on Xbox 360, and EA knows it.
