The history is still too deep in racism though. It's like racial slurs, they are kind stuck that way.

The sites part is stupid, but the rest are alright. Except for the nipples. But apparently they are a big deal in the US.

Yea the US has problems with nudity, but bashing someones skull in A-O-K.

I don't mean to disparage GAF in any way, it seems like a pretty nice community. Their mods handle trolling pretty nicely too, though I only read NPD threads with any regularity.

They just come across as very jealous and worried about VGChart'z popularity.

GAF is actually a very good Internet community, and their outstanding feature is that they really do contain trolling in intelligent ways - they don't feed the trolls, keep the truly amusing ones around for fun, and ruthlessly banhammer the average Internet moron without pity or remorse. Sometimes without even a warning.

However, the zeitgeist of GAF is very prickly about its own image. They've gotten upset before at incredibly petty stuff, such as obscure internet forums using the tags of GAF moderators as in-jokes. They take huge pride in fact checking and their NPD threads, and it's all Serious Biddness.

Overall, GAF is the gaming Internet's equivalent of a talented and likable talk show host who has a few very odd pet peeves and and a bad habit of saying some very... politically incorrect... things when intoxicated. But 70% of the time, he's one of the best in the biz.

This has always bothered me. I can show off my nipples in public but a girl can't. Honestly, what the heck?

I just want people to understand, if you want violence you can make nudity and violence meet together, in a wonderful way.
