Yeah, I hit the quote button after I found out, I had used PS2's last weeks data, and PS3s this week data. I knew something was wrong. Can we have different colors for different systems. A 2 looks an awful lot like a 3 when you aren't wearing your glasses.

I think Sony are saying that their numbers have increased 300% from October'S NPD so if their numbers on the next NPD cycle are above 480k then they didn't lie or mislead anyone.

They are saying that this months numbers are a 300% increase from last month. Last month was only 120k so add 300% to that and you get 480k. Simple as that. So we won't know until next weeks data comes in which will complete the data for November and we add them up.

no, sony is saying the increase is from the numbers before the price drop. I don't think they lied, it's just twisting numbers to sound impressive when they are actually pretty normal for this time of year. The sales are good for where the PS3 is right now, but they will need to do much better.
