LOL, thinking about it, I'd like to see two clichés from the 190-plus list combined together in one RPG: the hero's village burns while he's oversleeping, with a bubble of snot inflating and deflating from a nostril and while his mother desperately tries to wake him up!    Oh, since we're at it, let's add some cephalopod fetish: meanwhile, his girlfriend, waiting for him, is raped by the main antagonist's evil octopus (*) pet and after a while gives birth to a sexy but evil tentacled girl (that towards the end will be redeemed, her tentacles removed, replaced with arm and hand protheses and transformed in a yummy octopus salad).  O-) 

Edit: (*) Squid can do too, but please, not cuttlefish, I don't like it very much.

I only read a few, a bit too long for me. but part of this reminds me why i love Matsuno games, like FFTactics. where the hero's name forgotten in history, or even FF12, where if Basch was the main character (like he shouldve been), it would have changed everything. but a very informative list!

Yep, some clichés are expected to be present  in some games, and recovery by sleep is also a WRPG cliché, although in some more hardcore games there are situations like some illnesses, poisonings and other continuous damage sources that sleep can't heal.
