I played the original Flatout on the PC. God it was a piece of shit.

That it was.  Thankfully the sequel was vastly suprior.    

Usually when a game is really bad I do not wish a sequel eat up for shelf space but I'm really glad FlatOut 2 was given a chance.

 

Let's hope the new title is aligns itself closer to the latter iteration than the former.

Yup I'm one of the many that read Fallout for Wii. I actually was excited.

You should have had a poll asking if people read Fallout or Flatout. Would've been fun lol.

The excellent destructive racing series, FlatOut is headed to Wii - but original developer BugBear is nowhere to be seen.

Team6, creator of less-than-acclaimed Wii racer, Glacier, is at the helm, and says it's honored to be working on such a famed series.

Like anything on the wii that doesnt have mario, metroid or zelda, it will fall flat on its face
and sell like crap.

FlatOut sold like crap on PS2, Xbox, PSP and 360 already.  Wii's hardly going the odd one out.

Did anyone seriously expect a Wii game would be given to a well respected developer?

 

Anyhow, consider me interested, as I wouldn't mind another game similar to Destruction Derby 64, I won't be jumping out to buy this at release though (then again I rarely do that with any games anyway)
