god of war is terrible for story. 13 year old boys comic book.



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

On that note, I'll have to nominate killer7. The story is so convoluted that Suda51 even created a book to shed light on it (Hand in killer7). Only through discussion of that book can I now claim to understand the BASIC plot.

Metal Gear Solid 4 - poorly developed characters, drawn-out cutscenes, cringe-worthy/cheesy dialogue & melodrama and ridiculous plot twists that made me smh.

I actually liked the story/dialogue in it. It wasn't Half-Life or Sands of Time, but I was happy with it.

 

The ending sucked though.
