Can Bungie Surpass God Of War 3 Using PS3? Sources Say _____

I actually agree with him there Tor, when I think of Bungie, I think of amazing  gameplay and multiplayer rolled into huge amount of content. Graphics has never a thing to them, although their games don't look bad, to it's never been the top visuals, maybe HALO 1 which looked amazing on the Xbox.

"can (insert any 1st party sony studio here) surpass god of war 3 using ps3?"

"can bungie surpass halo using ps3?"

but seriously...when is the last time bungie has put out a graphical gem? when did bungie hire people that are more specialized at programming on PS3 than Santa Monica studio? bungie is multiplatform...when has a multiplatform company been concerned as polishing up a game to the max for each respective console they release it on?

...i mean i like good questions too but that one isn't a good question, it's not even a good what-if question.

 

 

I like the question because of the new path that bungie has taken a different path (meaning that they can turn a coin),

sure it’s going to be a mutilplate company but it doesn’t mean they can’t make a good looking game. For example crysis 2, now I don’t know if they’re going to max the graphics out on the consuls but its still a multiplat title.

I know bungie is more in to gameplay then graphics but things can change even if there are mutiplat or not.

i do agree with you on the hiphop gamer i cant stand the guy (he makes me want to shoot myself) and he probably did do this for hits but that doesnt mean the question he asked is bad

big budget shooters always sell in the millions especially when its multiplat , god of war is a sony exclusive and there is a big chance that a bungie multiplat title will outsell an exclusive but its going to be nothing like god of war , so in terms of what sells more in the hardcore audience god of war is at a disadvantage sales wise.

i dont think bungie can pull off a game like god of war 3 in 2 years , so in terms of quality i doubt anything bungie releases in its ten year contract will touch what god of war 3 has accomplished technically , god of war 3 is wow factor all over the place , halo never had that.

I hope you realize whatever game Bungie makes will likely look slightly better or the same on 360 as almost every multiplatform game does (with a few exceptions like FF13)

Also God of War 3 is definitely not the best graphics out there. Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and Alan Wake just to name 3 all surpass it. As well as Crysis on PC, of course.

 

Also, I'm expecting Bungies next project to be an MMO (they keep referring to it as "hugely ambitious, etc), which therefore wont be able to push graphical limits.

I doubt it. Bungie has not had nearly the experience with the PS3. But i put its way too early to tell because we objectively cant answer this question yet.

i am not so very much impressed with gow...

maybe i should go play a bungie game, but then again... i don't like shooters... i rather spend time drinking which i just seem to have been doing...

Screw graphics btw... if that's all you care about, open your eyes and go take a look outside for a change...

GOW3 is the best out there besides what a great gaming pc can do, if you dont think so then i think you havent played the game , there are some moments where you literally drop your jaw in amazement , its better looking overall than games like killzone, UC2 and definitely alan wake.

crysis and metro 2033 are the top dogs on pc in my eyes consoles dont come close to those visuals but gow3 is a somewhat close 3rd
