How about this new Gundam game for PSP. Is it a remake? What can we expect? 100k? 50k? How about scores in Famitsu? Any information. Thanks in advence.

Remake of PS2 version. (Actually, first release is for arcade. So PS2 version is also ported of it) And the sales of PS2 version is 450~500k. So the maximum is about 450k as expects. (to tell the truth, there are few games about Gundam sold over million)

And I'm sorry to you because I don't have any informations about Famitsu scores.

On the official website of Dragon Quest Swords no date announced yet, only says spring 2007.

Just will wait and see what happens.

Dragon Quest is a typical RPG which is fully based on gameplay and great sense of humor, humor you don't really find in Final Fantasy games. Real RPG fans simply love this game but those who play RPG games rarely can't stand it, because the game is too long. Dragon Quest Swords is a spin off game, as far as I know an on rail Action - RPG game.

Comparing to DQVIII in Japan, this game has voice actings from the beginning.

Edit = douzo!

@ y-koron

Thanks. It looks like there won't be any "shockwaves". I think 55k -75k as for week one is a pretty safe estimate.

@ WiiGirl76

Thanks for Famitsu score. 33/40 - solid. Like Gundam Musou. We will see how it affect on sale.

Yes, this is a direct sequel to Kenshin Dragon Quest, a motion-activated plug-and-play TV game. Kenshin went on to sell a million copies in JPN, given the Wii's success there this could be a massive seller despite its spin-off status. (think DQM:J) Especially given the pedigree of its developers: Yuji Hori, Akira Toriyama, Koichi Sugiyama, & Manabu Yamana. This is certainly an important game because if it performs well in the Japanese market, the Wii could very well be DQX's platform home. 8ing & Genius Sonority are providing the graphical framework, while story, character design, direction, location, etc. are being handled by the aforementioned gentlemen.

Dragon Quest X on the WII........ let's just say when they announce that, there won't be much left of the place around here as I would be tearing it down when jumping around out of joy  Same I jumped about the Tales of games, but unfortunate so far it was only a ****** rumor.

Really looking forward to DQ Swords, game looks amazing! Really beautiful months for the Japanese gamers on the WII and those who're not but at least own a JP WII

I'm curious how Paper Mario will sell in Japan, don't see it so far in the top 20 of most wanted games according to Famitsu.

Oh does someone know where you can buy the Weekly Famitsu on a regular base without the ridiculous high amount of shipping rate? Really love to get the magazine. I've checked himeyashop, but they charge about 19USD for shipping only by EMS. Lik Sang no longer excist and Play Asia doesn't sell it anymore except the monthly Wave version.
