You forgot Wingnut Interactive.

...and Bigpark and Xbox Live Productions

Im also pretty sure Halo Reach is effectively Halo 4, even though its a prequel to the series

Weren't feelplus also working on a Xbox 360 exclusive or something? List them there too, I like your thread will be waiting up an update....

Ensemble studio. Oh.... wait.... Microsoft killed it, their best studio, and Age of Empire, their best serie, without any reason. Worse than Activision.

I am still bitter about that , especially when a washed up, nothing more than average and failing to sell his games studio like Rare is still around.

Amen to that, AoE was easily my favourite gaming series at it's time, AoE + Exp and AoE2 + Exp were games far beyond their time. If only they got the support they deserved... Using them to build Halo RTS on consoles was worse than beheading kitten which was set on fire prior to it's drowning.

I agree with everything in these 2 posts. Oh how I miss Age of Empires.

Nice list, but one thing, in her interview with Tina Wood, didn't Corrinne Yu mention that she was working on the Xbox360? I would expect a game out of them for the fall of 2011. Maybe not Halo 4: The Return of Master Chief and Cortana; but another game in the universe, maybe a Forrunner era game that could about the first conflict with the flood.

Yeah she works in 343 Industries.

I know she works there. He said that he doesn't expect a game out until the next console, but shes working on the 360 so i would expect a game way before that. Also, I just found out that she is going to be interviewed again by Tina Wood very shortly.

mistwalker is 2nd party microsoft helped fund the studio but they can develop on diff systems that arnt a direct opponet to microsoft like how they been making ds and that new wii game they just annouced but cant make sony titles ..... but yea microsoft has been building their internal development in house but they need some japanese studios to help with japan in my opinion

Rare gave us the great Banjo Nuts and Bolts, Kameo and Viva Pinata... but I don't know, it's lacking something this gen.

So I expect a great revival this year for them, because if not... well, my wii will get all my playtime, since I would only play halo with a mouse and don't like fable!

Feelplus is working on a RPG for them, but I think MSFT is hoping Natal opens up Japan. If not then Japan is going to be dead to them.

Are you sure about this? I know that Microsoft helped them get started but I'm fairly certain that Mistwalker can produce games for any company at this point. That's why Microsoft, as per their agreement, owns the rights to the Lost Odyssey & Blue Dragon intellectual properties (so Mistwalker couldn't burn them and develop the sequels for the PS3, etc.)

I wonder who is making Age of Empires 4?

Cos there is no 'internal' Microsoft team anymore, under the name Microsoft Game Studios, right? (the team who made Flying Simulator for example, was closed.)

I'm not trying to troll, but that lineup is preaty weak. :(
Still the future might be brighter.
