Um Halo 2 won GOTY in 2005. GOW1 might have won PS2 game of the year in 2005. But Halo 2 won 84 GOTY awards. I have the Halo 3 legendary Edition. It said it on there.

OT: Rock music makes trailers look bad ass! I think the story and mood of this game will be a great! As for GOTY, im not sure. Too early to tell really.

I actually already have a sig bet. Otherwise I'd consider it.

On the review thing. Trailers often have review comments before a review has aired. Especially from games with embargos. Those commetns will be in the reviews for the game from those reviewers. But Remedy have put them in the official advertising trailer. Which makes perfect sense.

I fully believe that Alan Wake can achieve a great meta score. I think you will be pleasently surprised at how awesome this game is. I think it will beat any Resi or SH game score ever on Meta.

I'm going to have to assume you're wrong, since what I've seen of your track record is horrible.  Last game I saw you throwing out meta predictions for was 90-93 for Metro 2033 which ended up at 77. 

Personally I predict Alan Wake will end up with a high 8, and just miss the 9.0 cut off that some care about.

MY comments are fully justified. Or did you miss the fantastic comments in the trailer from IGN and other reviews. Sigh. Instead of moaning buy a 360 so you can play it.

We just went through this with you and Forza 3.  OMGZ, the greatest thing ever, GOTY, blah, blah, blah.  Basically, any 360 exclusive gets the same treatment.  It's rather predictable and boring.  If you would at least wait unitl you've played it, you might get a little more respect from everyone.  I'm sure after this come out and doesn't do as well as you predict, you'll quickly move to Halo:Reach.


1. You clearly missed the ? after GOTY in the title. Thats point one.

2. Point 1 nullifies anything youve just typed.

3. Reach probably will win GOTY. No Halo has ever not won GOTY yet. And Reach looks by far the greatest Halo game concieveed.

So you think GOW3 will win GOTY???

If the criteria for GOTY was strictly from graphics, than it wins hands down

But there are far more better games story wise (Mass Effect2) possibly Alan Wake that deserve to win in my opinion

so as far as Im concerned Alan Wake is looking as a better candidate for GOTY than GOW3

Hmmmmm. I have to assume your telling the truth and not just choosing something I got wrong. I fully accept I made that prediction for that game. And yeah we all get predictions wrong. But you clearly either forget ( or didnt see ) me predict 94 for ME2. 93 for FM3. and 93 for GOW3. So while we 'ALL' get some predictions wrong. We also get some right. And I ( unlike many other sad people ) will fully admit that some of my predictions are based with fanboyism influence.

I'm man enough to admit that. Whereas others feel the need to justify or cower behind the screen.

Wow wow GOTY right there folks, I felt the same way after seeing the Lair Launch trailer, just amazing looking.
