for me personally this looks so amazing (the game) & it looks far better than the RE released this generation. Not GOTY contendor for me though cus I'll never be able to play it lol and unless MGS5/GT5/GTAV releases this year no game has a chance to top FFXIII.

After reading and hearing the views of some games journalists I will so No, this will not be GoTY but will score a solid 89 on meta when the dust has settled and all the reviews are in.

I looked at Selnor's profile and wow he's 26 yrs old with the IQ/EQ of a teen. Then I saw his occupation and then I finally understand why he behaves the way he behaves.

No offense to delivery drivers, its a decent job but delivery drivers aren't exactly well known for tact and intelligence.

That has zero relevance to the thread other than to insult Selnor.  There are enough flaws in his posts to debate without resorting to try and be personal in your remarks.  I would also say don't believe everything you read on the internet, check out vgchartz girl's profile for an example of why.

I agree that the video looks amazing, I'm bothered about GOTY awards as I frequently disagree with critics opinions, so as long as its great game  then I'll be happy.

That is one of the lowest, most condescending and irrelevant remarks I've ever read here. Seriously, there are other members here on vgc, whom I won't mention, that haven't recieved an education from college, but that doesn't stop them from making intelligent, and mature contributions to the website. And there are also youths here who have no trouble engaging in mature discussions. AND there are people here who DO have well paying jobs that require the use of the brain extensively, apparently, and yet somehow, they're nothing but trouble/braindead fanboys. He's just a passionate Xbox 360 fan. He cleary stated "me thinks", which in other words means, IMO. He also added a question mark after "GOTY", meaning he's just asking you guys for an opinion.

Quit looking at the past, people. We don't always have to use the moral of "the boy who cried wolf". Sure, he's gone over the top quite a few times before. But I don't see anything particularly offensive here.

Better than RE? Possibly? Better/scarier than Silent Hill? No way in hell - way to much gun-ho action not to mention the 'compulsory' vehicle section in the trailer. I'm not saying it'll be bad in anyway, just as far as horror goes, Silent Hill2 & 3, even the Room , will beat it hands down.

See the problem there? Someone who is a fan of a console is devoid of logic as by default they are going to claim the games on it are great instead of being fans of games.

Being a fan of a console makes no sense - be a fan of a game, or franchise, not the console, that's just showing an utter, utter lack of logic.

You didn't look at my comment in the proper context. I just mean he prefers the Xbox 360 because he thinks it has the better games. Same way I'm a PS3 fan because I think it has the best exclusive games this generation.

I have to agree. From what I've seen in videos, the music seems more action paced than just scary. Silent Hill just has everything nailed down, from the music, to the atmosphere, and the story, and monsters...I doubt even this will give me the same creeps that Silent Hill did.
