This thread is funny. It makes me laugh. The PS3 beats the X360 for 2 weeks, and everyone's rejoicing saying "oh man, the X360 can't do anything against the PS3 owning it! OMGZ LULZ!"
I hate to say it, but I'm glad the Wii is winning to keep these Sony fans away from their pride sticks.
PS3 fans: I must ask you, after coming off of a system that has sold well over 120,000,000 units.....Why are you so amazed that the PS3 has beat the X360 for just 2 weeks?. We're not talking a start-up company that has no brand appeal, no games, or any credit. We're talking the freaking Playstation brand name. You might see "OMG, Microsoft can't do anything even with better games". It's true the PS3 won by 10,000 total units in 2 weeks, but again: shouldn't it? The PS3 is getting it's LTD rear-end handed to it on a silver platter. Sales are abysmal in every country in every way.
The steps Sony has had to take to even beat Microsoft for 2 weeks is insane, like dodce has stated. They're now the Microsoft of gaming: they've had to absolutely deconstruct any precieved profits and pour it into price cuts, marketing, buying exclusives because the system has very, very few, and everything else. Is it really winning when you beat a system that sold 25m units last gen, and had to drop your price more than any console in history did it's first year?
I know I'm a X360 fan, but half of you people are just.....There's no word for it other than Dr. Spock from Star Trek "it's illogical". Your not doing great when your strugglng for a mediocre 2nd place in Europe, rarely competing in Japan, and getting killed in the States. The PS3 isn't winning, it's losing....By alot because the X360 is for the most part, profitable and so is the Wii. No company in history has done turned so poorly so quickly...Cept maybe Sega's Saturn.
