Well there is a reason they are called terrorists.  Fear is sometimes the strongest weapon imaginable.  It's why it is so useful in politics and in this case war. 

AS for this I don't think this makes America a pussy.  But it is against the law in America to yell bomb on a plane because you represent a "clear and present danger".  Although, I'm not sure this constituted what happened, I'm sure it was all done to avoid lawsuits had there actually been a bomb.  Guess it gives you more of an insight to the American legal system which yes is as bad as it sounds when it comes to lawsuits.

Oh, so, it's not that ppl are pussy of the bomb, but of the lawsuits.
