Forums - Nintendo - Red Steel 3 ..... Confirmed?

they should forget this game existed and work on better stuff.
it didn't sell well, and the game is crap.

I couldn't disagree more. Red Steel 1 had its flaws, but the multiplayer was good enough to warrant a purchase. RS2 was apparently one of the best WM+ games made

AGAIN.... it's a not a confirmation. It's just part of that interview where he says if there's a Red Steel 3, it'd be cool to use the vitality sensor....

Actually that was in a past number, the rough translation is something like:

"Red Steel 3 in development. Whereas the second game has just released, the developers Ubisoft Montreuil, confirms the announcement of the third game, compatible with the vitality sensor"

Montreuil is the French suburn where Ubisoft is located. Anyway probably there's something about the Vitality Sensor that we don't know yet.

It took me 2 years to beat MP3, LOL.
I wouldn't be surprise taking 2 years for something else.

When you have a lot of time to play, you have no money to buy.
When you have money to buy, you're too buy working.

I have little time to play, and no money to buy

The statement by the magazine is a much stronger one than that, they say Red Steel 3 is confirmed. The magazine editors/writers as a group would have to be a bunch of retards to let a mistake that big happen.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Won't believe it until it comes from Ubisoft. >.

if that game was considered the best on motion plus then your standards must be pretty low, only thing about that game is music and the use of motion (heck even that it was not as good as WSR), everything else is mediocre at best.

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

- Wasteland - The Mission.

maybe Red Steel did not deserve a sequel, but Red Steel 2 does!

maybe the sales are low right now, but i can see it selling for a long time, reaching at least 0.50m...

Yep:

Despite a difficult start for the second game, Red Steel would have a third game, It's unclear if we can rely on the information now, its credibility comes from the pages of the French Official Nintendo Magazine.

Placed under "Hot News"  and restricted only to information avalible at the boundary of the closure of the magazine. The confirmation comes with an important detail, the game is compatible with the Vitality Sensor (as was suggested by Jason Vanderberghe, artistic director of Red Steel 2 in a previews interview). This suggest the idea that the game'll be presented at the E3 2010 with the pulsometer
