Forums - General - White supremacist opening nightclub for youths

A man who once proclaimed himself the national director of Aryan Nations is planning to open a nightclub east of Kansas City for the under-21 crowd.

The Black Flag is set to open Friday in the Prime Outlet Mall in Odessa, but Charles Juba, a self-avowed racist and anti-Semite, has extended invitations to high school students in Blue Springs, Independence, Fort Osage, Grain Valley and others.

Word of Juba’s past got out over the weekend, and concerned citizens are planning to attend tonight’s meeting of the Odessa Board of Aldermen.

“I want to know why the city didn’t figure out who this guy was before they gave him a license,” a resident complained Monday at the mall which runs along Interstate 70.

Mayor Tom Murry said the city would do what it could before Friday to stop Juba.

“We want new businesses in the mall, but not that kind,” Murry said.

Can they really stop him?

It's horrible that people like him exist but if he wants to open the club I assume he can. I don't know if he can keep certain groups of people out but I also have the feeling those certain groups of people wouldn't want to be in there in the first place. I assume the only people who want to be there are fucktards.

Yeah, I dunno. In a nation which has a Congressional Black Caucus and a Congressional Hispanic Caucus, I don't really see an argument for stopping this guy from being a racist douchebag.

As long as he isn't breaking any hate crime laws then he should be allowed to open his club.

But if he starts indoctrinating other people into his way of thinking in a way which violates hate crime laws, then yeah, his club should be shut down.

yea? thats cool. i've been looking for a new club i can't go to. hey? maybe i can party outside

this will be the best club ever? if only i could get in.

If it is just a club then it is alright guys. Like I'm pretty sure there is some islam clubs around...

well i thouhgt about it. i saw this on the news yesterday and the only thing i heard was(in so many words) i don't feel that way anymore. i say give him a chance even thow i look like someone he use to hate.

I saw this on the news earlier. The town itself is almsot 100% against him, so I doubt that he'll get much business. I find it hilarious that the guy known around town as the local nazi thinks that he can have a fun hangout, a place that presupposes that all groups would be welcome.

Either way, If he wants to have his club, I support the pipe dream.

Complete douchebags have rights too. Me i'd have a problem if they didn't let him open his club.

Of course being a complete douchebag I can't see the club doing too well.
