Assuming I understand what's happening.
This problem has happened before, the only solution I'm aware of is if you've gone farther than chapter 4 (on crushing), go back to chapter 4 and play from there, it should start working.

If that doesn't help I suggest playing again from the last chapter on hard and seeing where that gets you.

the only chapter i did on crushing was chapter 9 because i was collecting all the tresures and since there was no enemys in that level i changed it from very easy to crushing to get it out of the way so i could skip it later... i did this after i finished it on hard

Unless I'm mistaken, You can't change to and from crushing. I'm guessing it was to Hard or something else.

i cant remember which way i changed it, i dont think it was because it was to hard because it was just a puzzle level

If you are in crushing and somehow managed to change it away from crushing, it cancels out all progress made on crushing. I think the same thing happened to me when playing the game to get the weapons trophy I set it to v.easy and completed the game, but in doing so confinded myself to only having v.easy available.

Only solution I can think of is to repeat either the last chapter on hard to unlock crushing (assuming you are lucky) Or start a playthrough (from the same save) and see what it offers, if it doesn't offer crushing, you'll need to start from the first chapter on hard.

im going to give the last chapter a try later
