Forums - Nintendo - Took my Wii out to the pool with my projector

Well guys, summer is coming up. Let's face it. I have been inside waaaay to long and I could be the most pale man on planet earth right now (my wife tells me that every day). So I was thinking how I could stay entertained and get out to the pool at the same time. My apartment complex has a couple pools and I have only been once since I moved here. Solution.. Wii at the pool!

The one key part that I still need are waterproof cases for the controllers. Do they even make them yet? I might be the first person ever to try and play Wii in the pool (I hope I am!). I'd like to patent a version of Wii Fit game for the pool. Can you imagine a bunch of senior citizens getting their pool workout on via the Wii?!

The setup: Wii with a micro projector, this one is from Aaxa technologies and is their M1 model. There are a ton them out there now but I got the M1 because it is the brightest. Stats on it are here: http://www.aaxatech.com/products/m1_micro_projector.htm

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed my little experiment. I am going to go call all the video game execs I know to try and get this new Wii Fit H2O made (all zero of them)

Now that is a great idea!

Former something....

Waggle underwater.
Now, make it so a pool comes with every Wii.

OT,
I don't think I've seen any waterproof shell for any console.
Maybe look around for a custom shell?

What could possibly go wrong?

You're my kind of crazy.

(pool sold separately)!

that sounds pretty cool... I guess

Now you've gone mad with power!  Super Power!

where's the sensor bar?

and don't you think you'd need to waterproof the console too?

And all these pictures are at night... though you're wearing sunglasses for some reason, I'd be more concerned with how the image will look in the daytime. Plus, the whole point was to get some sun, right, white man? I'm sorry but this idea has more flaws than a wes anderson character.

EDIT: also it appears you have a chicken foot for a hand, or maybe it's an orange hook. I can't tell because it's so tiny!*

Pics or it didn't hap... oh wait..

Crazy idea, I like it

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

aww phooey... I clicked on this thread thinking you were gonna do something cool like using the pool itself as a huge "screen" for your projector to play Wii games on... hey, it could work lol!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
