I justed started a new game too.
My typical mixture...
Race - Breton
Gender - Female
Sign - Steed
I usually join the Mage's & Fighter's Guilds, along with The Dark Brotherhood. The game never gets boring, ever!

It was a long time ago I made a new character in Oblivion. I think I'm gonna start a new game too. Maybe just do a speedrun lol since I have a big back catalogue of unfinished games.
A female character? Ugh.

I still have to reinstall on the new PC and finish Morrowind and didn't get Oblivion yet, but on Morrowind I have a male High Elf, the sign is Atronach, iirc, and I joined Fighters, Thieves, Mages, House Hlaalu, morag Tong and Twin Lamps. So, after stopping playing it for a while during Summer holidays, I lost myself in a mess of threads and subquests and I fear I won't know where to restart from! Nevertheless I was enjoying it and I want to finish it. But for Oblivion I'll wait, maybe, I like open, fully explorable worlds and lots of subquests, but they suck away too much time and I already have Gothic II and III in my backlog.

Yes, Morrowind is a real mess to get back into if you pick it up after not having played it for a while.
But lol, Morrowind is over 8 years old and you haven't even started Oblivion yet? Gothic II is really old too. You are a little behind lol.

Yes, I have a huge backlog, I wait for budget editions and game of the year or similar editions, to spend less, get most bugs removed and being able to get all or most official expansion included. I also tend to like games where you risk to get lost, the risk usually comes true and so my backlog furtherly grows.
The newest games I plan to buy in a near future are Fallout III (in the edition including most expansions I'll be able to find), Assassin's Creed I and II and some RPGs and sneak them ups that clearly show they could become classics could enter my list too.
