Forums - General - The Limp Bizkit fan thread

I know I'm only 17, so I was very little when these guys were popular. But I've always had a thing for early nu metal music, if you could call it that. And therefore, I stumbled onto these guys while searching music on the web. I've heard of them for a while now, but I only started listening to their music about six months ago. And I have to say, I am a fan.

I understand their name is weird. And they have a ton of haters. They're lyrics can sometimes be considered juvenile or immature. But I like their unique style of music, and at least they're different.

So I made this thread for all Limp Bizkit fans here on VGChartz to gather and discuss the group and their music.

Rules: I know there are a ton of haters of this band, so no flaming, please. And if you don't like them, please keep the criticism to a low. I want a peaceful way for fans to congregrate. Thanks.

I remember them when they were at their prime. Their guitarist...Who's name evades me....Was killer. That was the only good thing about the band though.

They were in there with all the other crappy rapcore bands in the early part of the 2000's. Thank God that musical abortion is almost all dead :-p

I think the only good band outta that era was RATM.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Limp Bizkit still has fans?

j/k

The j/k was added after an edit.

His name was Wes Borland. When he left the band for the first time in 2001, that's where the band's downfall from popularity began. They replaced him and he came back in 2005 and made another album with them, and then he left again the year after. He has since rejoined the band last year, and now they have another album coming out in June. Here's hoping they have a great comeback, and some good, new material.

I like Limp Bizkit, especially 'Eat You Alive` and pretty much all of Chocolate Starfish

I was a fan back in the day, went to see their show years ago when they played in Toronto, mosh pits FTW

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

I must admit, I used to like them. Especially that song Fred Durst did with Method Man.

I can't wait for this iPhone game:

8 bit Linkin Park!

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I used to like them when I was young. I also used to like Kideo

I'd say that from an artistic perspective, the latter has held up better over time.
