i only said that about Russia because Russia total pop i think is about 150 mln (not sure exactly) but not all of them live in Europe, i think about 80-90% of Russians are probably in Europe (total guess btw)

i wasn't commenting on Russian gaming habits....just saying a lot of people dismiss Russia when they think of Europe (and a lot dismiss it when thinking of Asia too) yet Russians make up a sizeable chunk of Europeans. (if you took them out then barely 600mln people would be European)

vaguely interesting fact...Russia is one of only two countries to span (be included in) more than one continent at once, Kazakhstan is the other country that is both European and Asian (i think...things change it might not be anymore)
Turkey also used to be part of Europe, then for some reason was classed as Asia, and now i think it is Eurpoe again....odd.

also yes, as tht was 2005 the population will probably be near 750mln now....though it is expected to go downwards in the future, most of the eastern european countries have slowly decreasing populations.

About the Russian people, compared to the US, Japan, or Western Europe, almost all of them are poor. However, the people in Russia are really not poor and things have been much better the last few years as Putin has privatized many of the government functions and lowered taxes.

Egypt is in both Africa and Asia.

poor or not, but come on, if DS cost around 120 euros there, they definetely can find 10 euros per month. =))

thats true but its also bringing more gamers in,i mean in japan it already passed gba,in europe should do it in about a year and a half,and that only leads to the us where the gap i bigger
