Forums - Gaming - It only takes a split/second

Looks like a good game that may be a sleeper hit.

Pure was a really fun game so if they can capture that same feel of tight handling and nice track design then it could be a great game. Fingers are crossed for this one.

Splitscreen and fun gameplay will keep this title alive, don`t worry

Bump for publicity.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

I liked the Blur multiplayer demo beta thing. But IMO Split Second could take over the Burnout spot for best arcade racer. It is actually changing things up with awesome visuals. Cant wait.

I'm buying.

Agreed, though, a new burnout is surely on the way ...

I hope

Trust me, I'm as excited as the next guy. I just don't have a fat enough wallet for it.

Exactly same reason why I'm not getting it day one, gonna have to wait for it to hit £20 or something ...

Though I'm on the hype train, I'm still 50/50 about day one-ing this game as money is on my radar, though I did just spend £10 on FF13 therefore I win the interwebs. ^_^

Not hyped because I played it in 2001, it was called Burnout. I'm tired of Arcade racers, they're uninspired most of the time, I didn't like Burnout Paradise either, its just more of the same.
Guess I'm more a Forza/GT kind of guy.

I know how you feel, I played Halo in the 90s, it was called Doom.
I played GT 5/Forza ages ago on the psOne, back then it was just called GT.
I also played Alan Wake on the psOne when it was called Silent Hill.

Seriously, that's a terrible arguement. If we disregard every single game that comes out because they have elements that have been done before, there would be no point in gaming anymore.

S/S brings something new to the table that Burnout didn't I.E the ability to destroy EVERYTHING, IMO? That's enough reason to at least give it a fair shake of the stick.
