Luigi was such a loser in the last game. I really wish they'd stop making him so whiny and lame. Don't make his quest the 'unlockable' quest...allow us to play him from the start! Make him a little more equal to Mario.

That's what I'm saying.  But even more than that, they need to make a game focusing on him.  I mean, if even Peach can get her own DS platformer, and Wario has had 6 now, surely Luigi should have had one by now.

Its not like Nintendo is hard pressed to find an excuse to make a Luigi based game.  Its a perfectly good excuse to make a new Mario platformer and instead of having to wait a year to release the next 'New Super Mario Bros', they can have a side game staring Luigi.  All I ask is they make him play more like he does in Smash Bros (with the Tornado, Luigi Missile and tigher jumping mechanics).  And think about it, it would be a crazy new way to play a 2D Mario with all those moves and Luigi's 'flair'.

Well they did have "Luigi's Mansion". I never played it but people seemed to like it. And I read somewhere a few months ago that Nintendo re-upped the trademark on that name, so maybe something is in the works?
