cod4 my most played + the only game I still play from the games I bought wiht my PS3..

Uncharted 2, it is so beautiful

GOW3, it is so epic

MW2, everyone at my work has it and we always play together.. so much fun

Braid- for its original ideas
Mario Galaxy- for level and artistc design
Zelda on DS- I'm impressed about how complex a game can be using only the stylus.
Metal Gear Soild 4- for overall quality
Dead Space- for sound design

In terms of wow factor to both story, and presentation. So far it was the first time I Played Mass Efect 2.

Runners up: Oblivion and Gears Of War 1.

Gears - TPS and cover system made for a fresh change of pace.

It would be either Oblivion or Halo 3.
Both didn't have a big impact on me compared to the previous gens, though.

Twilight Princess.

Blew me away, redefined perfect in my eyes (still not as good as Ocarina of Time though).

Amen.

Metal Gear Solid 4. It is the greatest game of all time, so not only did it have the most impact on me this generation, it has had more impact on me than any other entertainment product ever.

By far the greatest game ever made.

Bionic Commando Rearmed and Halo 3. Just watching their respective vidoc made me realize how developers put a lot of heart into their games. Makes the playing experience even better.

Also, because of these two games, I want to become a game programmer. We'll see what I specialize myself into later, but game development is definitely my future.

It's strange that I am the first to mention this game:

Wii Fit

I lost 40 kg with the game. It turned me from an obese person into an idealweight person. I even do real sports outside now.

This is what I call an impact.
