Forums - Nintendo - Unofficial Smash Bros. Brawl rebalancing update released

"The development team has implemented a clever mechanism that loads the Balanced Brawl files from an SD card. You just have to download the files to a card (and remove all your saved custom Brawl stages), pop it in the system and launch the Stage Builder mode -- the loader will automatically take over from there. If you're interested in having a Balanced Brawl party, we suggest throwing one soon, before Nintendo releases a firmware update to block the unlicensed balancing act."

Hmm, that's... interesting. Good thing you won't have to mod/hack your Wii to use this. Though personally, I've never had much of a problem with Brawl. Might be cool for some diehard fans to install this.

Nintendo Network ID: Cheebee   3DS Code: 2320 - 6113 - 9046

Sounds like something I might want to try. Is it reversible?

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Pepole shouldn't care about this unless they are competitive Smash players.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

So far we have Brawl+ the combo version of brawl. Then we have Balanced Brawl, the version of brawl that is more fair and balanced. Then we have Brawl minus that is a joke version of brawl. Then we have project M which is Brawl made to be melee. The hacking will never end.

Yes the process is reversible. You load the game through stage builder then take out the SD card. Once you reset the game it goes back to normal or at least it should.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Read that to get more info. I am really suprised they got an article on a site other than smashboards. This has been Ampharos's project for about a year now. Most players won't recognize any difference but some will. It really isn't that much different. Yes it is more balanced and not very intrusive. So they did complete their goal. However in my opinion in it isn't as fun as regular brawl.

Also the SD thing has been known for a while now. All hacked versions of brawl can be loaded through SD card by going to stage builder.
