As of now, the only real objective i've got left on Pokemon Soul Silver (other than Dex completion) is to defeat Red. 

While training my Electivire, I defeated the Elite Four with only the five other elements of my team (granted, they're leveled at 67 with only Dragonite being 70).

So, have you defeated the 2nd batch of fights with the Elite Four? If so, what was your team at the time and have you defeated Red too?

-Togetic level 60 -Arcanine level 61

-Fearow level 60 -Grandbull level 60

I very pround of my team especially against Lance who has a Dragonite, Salamence and Garchomp in the 75...

Of course I had to use some potions but hell, Lance used 2 full restore on his Dragonite level 75


I think that what need pokemon games is not just innovations but harder challenge as well. This one was good though.

Yup, harder challenges are nice, but there's still one very tough challenge ahead, the fight against Red

Your team is pretty good, but a bit overused though. Electivire looks cool to battle with though. I would like do to underused battles online one day. 

 Do you know how to get the other starter?

Also you can try beating the elite four wihout using any potion at all. I did it on pearl when the pokemons get stronger after a few times. looks harder in soul silver though

Those are pretty much my favourite pokemon, I try to stick with that baseline party throughout the generations, as much as I can (Since Silver was my favourite pokemon game).

I got the other starter through GTS and FC trading. Through GTS, as long as you have any pokemon seen on your Dex, you can trade for it. Starters trading normally require that you breed your own starter to get the first evolution from it.

I did this second time elite four with no potions at all. Now Red, that's a challenge XD 

Ever since the game was given an NA release date, my brother and I began creating our teams. So I knew that that would be my team for a while now, and it's done pretty well so far. The only problem right now is that no one on my team knows a fighting type move, so fighting against a Normal type can be frustrating (Getting BP so that I can teach Weavile Low Kick). Other than that, I really like my team! Weavile is super cute. Definitely going to be a member of my Black/White team. ^_^

And as you can see Gliscor was always my first in battle going against Lance. Stealth Rock did a number on his flying types.

Even between the matches??? That quite an accomplishment.

I have moves to counter every weakness available, it was just a matter of setting up the proper Stats-Enhancing held items, like Soft Sand for Earthquake (who annihilates Koga's pokemons except Crobat) or BlackGlasses for Night Slash (which pretty much destroys anyone on Will's Team).
