I never heard of Nomura either, but it really doesn't matter. No matter which console you own, you owe your vote to Miyamoto. You probably wouldn't be playing video games if it wasn't for him.

 lol my first game was Star Fox on the SNES =] then my family got an NES and Atari 2600. 

The order should be this one, from best to no so best. I don´t know what you are thinking people!! Looks like all the ones here are nintendo fanboys.

It does not matter how many units a game sale, what matters is the experience the game make you feel

Miyamoto games are fun, but thats all, in the other side Kojima´s and Nomura´s are fun + epic + have incredible story + MASTERPIECES.

I admit that Mario Galaxy is a fun game but also is fun to play football or basket. I don´t need a console just for having fun, I need a console in order to have an awesome experience I can´t get somewhere else.


At least that´s what I think.

In addition to Mikami, guys like Gunpei Yokoi, Keiji Inafune, Takashi Tezuka, or even Fumito Ueda deserve mention above Nomura.

EDIT:  Oh, and Eiji Aonuma.
