You cant buy it unbundled! And the X3260 Elite without any games wouldn't be any cheaper than the Pure/Panda bundle anyway because those two games are old and no one buys them as new anymore.

I doubt there'll be an Alan Wake bundle at release, but maybe after a couple of months. Of course game stores will bundle Alan Wake by their own, but you wont save many NOK that way cos they will add at least 500 NOK to the bundle.

Jesus christ.... Is no one getting my point here? Its silly to force every single customer to purchase a predetermined bunch of games with no choices! How about letting people pick from a smaller selection instead? Its not that I'm angry about getting "free" games (I'm still 100% sure that the machine would be cheaper to buy without any games attached if it were available), but the fact that they're forcing me to choose between one useless package and an even more useless package at a higher price. How about letting me buy it for 100NOK less or so and they get one sale and I don't have to have two or three games on my shelves collecting dust? Would that be so hard? Would you buy a console with several games attached you neither needed nor wanted if you knew they had no secondhand value and there was no way of trading them in?
I did find an RE5 special edition bundle but it contained a red Elite and costs 2795NOK...

I don't get why its so hard to understand that this annoys me, I want the console and not Lego games and poor racers. Its like forcing me to buy a copy of "Twilight" and "2012" when I buy a Blu-Ray player or DVD player.

You silly billy. The Pure bundle is the price of the stand alone Elite. Buy it and throw the games away for all M$ care. They are free games.

Your complaining at free games. The elite is no cheaper on it's own than the Pure bundle. Do you know what free means? ;)

I'll see what happens, I'll wait for any announcement of new bundles or; heck, free games that I actually want! Maybe there's a leftover Forza 3 bundle somewhere too. Its not imperative to get the machine until Alan Wake and Fable III are released anyway so I'll survive for now, I really do want Forza 3 and RE 5 though.

PS: The games in the second bundle are not free, that bundle costs 300NOK more, not exactly a fortune but still far from free.
