Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon XD and Pokemon Colosseum two gems that seemingly flopped?

Some parts of the games were very good. But I hated how you couldn't just go out and find wild Pokemon anywhere. And then in XD they let you catch wild Pokemon, but only after setting up traps or whatever to lure them there. I liked the way the games looked though and it was something different than battling through gyms and becoming champion so the two games were fun. The first one was a lot better in my opinion.

You could always just transfer your party in ruby/saphire to XD or the other

I rremember doing that, but then I just transferred all of them back to Ruby afterwards since I played that one a lot more. Every Pokemon game should have wild Pokemon.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I wouldn't call Pokemon Colosseum a gem.

XD seemed like a feeble attempt my Nintendo to try and get more people on the Gamecube. Never played it but it seemed like it never got the coverage of a typical pokemon game.
