It takes very little time to fix the sound issue. No need to worry there.

Although I still don't see the big issue. When I'm playing, I'm too busy concentrating on finishing the song to give a crap if the sound is coming out of the correct speaker.

Why is it that everyone thinks that every game needs to be made on the Wii? You already have GHIII, what do you need one and two made especially for your system for? Play it on the PS2. Apparently everyone has them, because b/c is so important, and they have tons of games to play on them they don't want to lose due to lack of b/c, play it on that.

It's also really, really narrowminded to think that everybody owns a PS2, anyhow. I only just got mine a few months ago because I bought it from a friend for $40 (PS2, 10 games, 2 controllers, memory card. Who could pass on that?).

If I hadn't had that friend, I still wouldn't have a PS2. And I'm not going out to buy an entire system for a game that I could possibly get on a superior system that I already own.

I just wish I could figure out how to get this out to the rest of the Internets without whoring myself out. =/

1) Not everyone who has a Wii has a PS2.  Given the Wii's casual market appeal, a lot of Wii owners probably don't own any other game consoles.

2) I'd love to trash my old Gibson SG guitars and just use the Les Paul to play the GH1/2 songs, and I'd pay $50 to do so.  The Les Paul is much easier to play on, and I bet I could do better on the older songs.

3) Find another excuse to bitch about people who think backwards compatibility in the PS3 is important.

Not to mention when people do ports, they typically don't do completely dirty ports. They usually try to add something into it. Since it's hard to screw up with controls in this case, they don't even have to worry about that aspect.

Although I wonder if Vivendi's acquisition of Activision will affect this...
