3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3)

Review by Roger Hargreaves – We've said it before and we'll say it again: this game has the best graphics ever.

I've seen many threads where "X" game has greatest graphics ever because a reviewer said so, so there you have it.

Plus they gave it a 6/10 because it is similar to SNES Zelda. -_-

This game makes Alan Wake and Heavy Rain look like dog shit. These graphics look like NEXT GEN.

Honestly I could've created a game like this using my 3dsmax software, they're just a pile of blocks.
I do wish they didn't have those black lines for each 3D pixel, the 8-bit zelda didn't have lines separating each pixel.

Here are some pieces of the review. The proof is there!

We've said it before and we'll say it again: this game has the best graphics ever.

Visually then the game is perfect

One of the best looking games ever

 

The rest of the review doesn't matter since this review is 20% praising the graphics and 80% crying like children because it plays similar to SNES Zelda.

The game has an option to turn off the tiled appearance. This is from my Official Thread.

 

You can choose to toggle an option for "grid." When set to on, the blocks that make up the game world and its characters are marked with clear borders. When off, the world appears to flow together.

Really, that's great to know. I'm definitely having that turned off. Just having that option alone is going to make me want to buy the game even more!

It must be the Nintendo bias. It is scored lower for being like a Nintendo game!!! O_o

When I first saw this I wasn't sure I would be able to suspend belief; the blocks were bugging me

Now that I've seen the gameplay and heard some of the audio, I am so Fn there

I love the graphics . . .

@rmearp83, go ahead and start making tiny blocks with your super powerful software, I'm sure that will amount to an awesome game
