Forums - General - Go See Kick Ass

There was a part in the comic where Kick Ass's friends created a new curse word: "Tunk". They wanted it to spread by using it in conversation as much as possible. At the end of the story there was a moment that made me laugh so hard I cried! If that part would've made it into the movie, it would have been so epic!!

Zombieland was awesome but if you want to enjoy the movies then you should have watched Hurt Locker Avatar and Ninja Assassin only if you love action

I saw it and ya know... it was pretty good. It definitely walked the line between tastelessness and good fun, but for the most part... it succeeded.

@D21

Yeah, "tunk" isn't in there... but from the sound of it it would have been a welcomed addition to the script.

how was it tasteless

I m going to see it today (french release)

hope is good or i kick (your) ass ....

i realy want to see it

Yes, yes, yes. This thread has my full approval, not often would I do this for a film, but I would happily watch that film again right now.

Before I first saw it I had my reservations about it, I thought it looked stupid in the way 'scary movie' movies are so stupid they border on eye abuse.

But man was I proved wrong, I loved every second of it. Then I found out that Brad Pitt produced it and he does not lend his name to crap.

Excellent film 11/10

Oh, and whoever played Hitgirl, she stole the show.

In fact, if you want proof about how Hitgirl stole the show, watch this trailer.

Warning: this trailer is not suitable for people under the age of 18.

I'm seeing it tomorrow... not because I want to but my boyfriend does. I'm really apprehensive about seeing it because I cannot fucking stand Nicholas Cage. He is the worst actor ever and his face is annoying.

Yeah, I hate him too, he's always on edge. It's not his fault, it's just the way he's typecast.

But in this film he is slightly different, there is an element of humour to his character as well. He was not as annoying.

Strange movie.

But good. Not funny in the slightest, but nice action.

I found the humour to be along the lines of Snatch or Lock Stock. I guess it's the kind of humour some people don't care about, but it's most certainly there.

Personally there were a few scenes where I was in hysterics.
