Monster Hunter Tri, a HUGE wii exclusive is coming out in just 3 days and 1 hour (Pacific time)   and I havn't seen any real hype going around for this game other then some comercial laughs.

I'm throwing a LAN party for this game as monster hunter series for some reason has a massive amount of cult followers of the game in the Roseville area. I was expecting some more of the Nintendo guys to be getting excited, but it really doesn't seem that way.

Instead I've seen a bunch of hype for Alan Wake, which I'm sure will be a great game, but comes out a few weeks after and we have a small 360 userbase on this site compared to the other two.

Where is the Monster Hunter Hype Machine?!

well you see IGN didn't give it a 9.5 which is the new baseline for a good game

I really can't wait to play Monster Hunter Tri, hopefully when the game releases we can get a good Monster Hunter Tri wi-fi community going(exchanging friend codes, ect). =D

because the game isnt a huge franchise in the west or Europe simple as that, well im hypingit though because i am looking forward for this games release in Australia, 29th of april my birthday, talk about perfect timing lol

I would be extremely happy to get one going. I'm a die hard monster hunter fan who bought the original ps2 game, day 1 and had the network adapter for the ps2 (before they released the slim)

I will be playing MH Tri every other day pretty much for....basicly until the next game is released. I love the monster hunter games that much.

So what weapons is everyone going to do? I'll check out the Slash Ashe a bit more, but I think I'm going to stick with my tried and true lance and Tachi.

I don't quite understand the thread. There have been commercials all over the place. Plus it's sponsored almost every show Comedy Central a couple days ago.

i'm hyped... just that the game released a while ago in japan (so no novelty), that I have 15 unplayed games and 15 unfinished ones and that there are bigger unreleased fish yet to come for my wii...

Semi hyped.

I dk, im just sick of being a Wii owner. Rejected and treated like shit for the last 3 years, im fucking over it.
