Forums - Microsoft - Alan Wake runs at 720p - Confirmed via Remedy!

i guess we will find out when the game is released because i know there have been devs who said there game was 720p and it was less when tested by an outside source. i dont believe anything is confirmed until release and that goes for all games not just this one.  either way i will play this game. i dont play games through a magnifying glass like some people.

was it actual developer confirming the 720p or was it a website comminity manager?

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

Quaz is the final word, not Mazinger.

Tease.

seems like a publicity stunt to me xD
free publicity FTW

I sure hope this is the final word. I don't think I've ever seen such controversy over a 360 game before, particularly on VGC.

With all due respect sir, I seriously doubt that.

Your pseudo-objectivity ia almost fascinating, but don't think that there ain't people that actually KNOW, what you're doing night and day in 360's threads.

And please stop "defending" 360 and 360 games to mindless fanboys' attacks that your """objectivity""" feeds like dry woods the fire.

It makes a lot of people overcome with nausea.

People, you are missing the bigger picture here. Deadly Premonition is a sandbox game, and Alan Wake no longer is. Oh Nooooooz!

I am pretty sure Remedy would know what resolution Alan Wake runs at :)

call me crazy but there s something fishy here.First guy from gaf does have credibility,he discovered ff13,scc resolution even though

before that SE and ubi were bragging around, how ff13 is same on both platforms, how scc is hd game.....he works for digital foundry, and beyond3d

second, guy who responded is comunity manager,he doesnt have anything with game production.

i guess we ll have to take a seat and wait till full game comes out.

you should have seen the fanboys on N4G... it's denial at a new level

Even still you'd think with him being the Community Manager he would be able to have confirmation from the development team otherwise Remedy's creditability would be at risk.

You are right it would be best to take a wait and see approach.

The difference is that the other games where official released video from Ubisoft and Square and this is not... this is using unknown compression plus put on the web and compressed further... we don't know how much it has affected video quality
