1. Wait for a more appropriate time to sell, like just before Christmas. If supply problems start popping up again, you may be able to sell it for more than $200.

2. Do not include the games with the system. People may not like those kind of games, especially the JRPG. Sell them separately or trade them at a game store.

3. Lower the price incrementally until it sells. Make sure you have plenty of good pictures that show it is in good condition.

I sold my Wii last week, I did my research as I do before I buy all my games. To many the library is unappealing and the the games that are good are to hard to find among the piles of shovelware sold in local stores. Don't attack his opinion just because you have some sort of Wii loyalty.

@ the OP: I got $250 for mine by selling it to someone I know, if you can't sell it on Ebay your better off finding someone you may know who's interested and just selling it to them. Otherwise try a local trading post.

I sold my Wii on ebay 2 years ago for $350 to someone in France. I think during that time the Wii was a hot demamd and it was low on stock. I guess the demand has gone down a little for the Wii. The PS3 seems to have the higher demand now. If you don't ship international, I think you should. It should be around $70 to ship international. Shipping and ebay fees is too much. If you did sold the Wii you'll end up with less than $120. Charge for shipping.

I don't see how I attacked anyone, I SUGGESTED something just like I'd suggest picking up A DEMO of MH3 free at gamestop although it doesn't seem to be the most exciting game in the world in the 1st 10secs of single player its good and its officially going to start a nintendo community cause you don't need friendcodes for wii speak but warning its not for your usually "JADED" ps3 gamer who only knows online fps, games M rated, picture perfect look, I had a friend who put down pikmin halfway through the tutorial obviously because he doesn't like the best games and that's the usually ps3 owner as a matter a fact I don't no any ps3 owner who is better in general at videogames then me not one and usually not even at most of the games they prefer witch hints jaded gamer not hardcore gamer and thats what ppl mix up alot and if I was attacking someone or in reality picking a thread fight I'd probably be saying stuff like "who cares wii smashes ps3 every single week and I don't think thats going to change" witch I just did................

everybody makes a thread about selling their wii's but I couldn't tell you how many ps3 I seen used Really especially at this place I go to called the exchange and they have ps3 "with dust all over them" obviously sitting their for months and although I guess the games are great but to me they just look like more of the same...........

I just sold my Xbox 360 Arcade on half.com for about $150, so maybe you should try listing the Wii on there instead of ebay (even though it is the same parent company). It is definitely important to do your research when listing it on there and price it competitively, if you don't have a lot of positive feedback you will probably need to price it even more aggressively. Still I'm convinced you will be able to get more than you would by selling it at Gamestop, although it will also be a little more time consuming.

What you need is somebody to pimp dat Wii. Now, I happen to be an expert in the art of Pimp-ology. Unfortunately, the rules of pimpin' clearly state that I keep 100% of the money (and don't be coming up short or else I'm gonna have to cut you again). Have that Wii on my doorstep on Saturday afternoon and I'll sell that bitch.

Like already stated, this is the WORST possible time for a JRPG fan to sell his Wii. Last Story, Xenoblade, Dragon Quest X...
However, if you really need the money, like right now, then go ahead. The PSP had a great year coming, yet I was forced to sell it, because I had very little money...
However, I highly recommend that you keep your Wii for at least a couple of months. 2010 is gonna be a great year for the Wii.

In case u all ready has a girlfriend and she does not like the Wii , you gonna have to sell it at a bigger loss simple like that , example , i will not sell/trade my Wii until Wii2 comes out , but look at me i got my Wii here in brazil 3 years ago when the wii had its worst shortage ever (remember ?) and i payed $1600 (brazilian money - Reais -) now the Wii is selling for only 800, i got a bunch of games (over 20) and Wii Fit , i own two Wii-mote+nunchuk+MotionPlus combos , and there is no way in hell i can sell it for over 1300 there is now way dude , once that something like video games are out of the store you just have live with it cuz selling is never a good deal ...(u will always loss some good money)
