Lol, good point, but it's not like its someones pride and joy here, its a topic about a game on a website for gamers who have lots of opinions on games. If it is someones pride and joy then other games may be other peoples pride and joys also. When people say "this is the best EVER" then people are entitled to disagree and people will argue, especially on a subjective topic such as aesthetics. Without opinions and discussion forums would be pretty boring and thread would die off very quickly. :)

If anything Alan Wake fans should be thankful for the debate in this thread because it's keeping it on the front page and advertising the game more, most people won't read past the title or after checking the video anyway! At least most comments are constructive and fair rather than "Thiz game suxz because it's not got master chief". :p

Actually nobody said this was the best ever graphics before you trolled the topic claiming they were average.  I've just read the first few pages and people were quite in check, some said they rivalled the best graphics they had seen on consoles but nobody else brought specific games into the equation or downplayed other consoles quality of titles.  It is YOU and solely you who started trolling this thread first, nobody else is to blame for the responses but you with your needless baiting.

I'd be more thankful if people like you were moderated and banned as you should be for your frankly pointless posts in here hating on a game you haven't played and probably will not play anyway.  If it wasn't for people like you I could have a civil discussion with people actually interested in the game rather than have to filter through 10+ pages of 360 v PS3 fanboy bullshit you started.  Not only did you start the bullshit you have done nothing but continue throwing fuel onto the fire, its disgusting you weren't banned.
