Forums - Sales - WW sales of PS3 will pass Halo 3 next week

Its at 6.05M if they adjust the numbers. It has already passed halo 3.

The difference is just slightly under 2 million, so the PS3 would have to outsell Halo 3 by 40k per week to beat it in 2008. Saying 2009 made sense if you think only with averages, since that isn't happening. Then again the holidays will probably boost the PS3 more, and Halo 3's sales will probably decline as the year progresses, while I can just about see the PS3 maintaining 70% of current sales over most of next year. I'll reconsider just a bit and say second half of 2008.

2009 seems reasonable for US,since they will be giving free halo 3's and mail to the people that buy 360,so that should widen the gap between them even further
