If people can't remember certain details, the details likely aren't important.

It makes sense. Squeenix takes too long to develop their games. Will this speed up the process? Probably not. But it will help them get money throughout.
I love SE to death. But even I find this a bad idea. and I hope they fail at it.
If this means they can find it in their hearts to make a new Chrono game, then fine. Whatever.
Its becoming like Valve, with Half life episodic games =)
