I guess you're probably right.
Still, it was a good idea. The gorgon heads are among Kratos's best weapons.

yeah was thinking of it as getting around invisibility and invicibility since the attack itself doesn't do damage. problem is that it takes too long on more powerful things.
I think the better think to do that argue over this is watch my Metroid Other M video.

Lol
this thread became a little less interesting when Kuutra kicked letsdance's ass WAY back in the thread. still pretty intersting though.

My point is that Link isn't a normal guy. Normal ten-year-oldsdont use age argument. its stupid. Link is an elf, Kratos is human. Can we say elfs are more advanced in age than humans? without super powers and without magic don't kill gigantic fire-breathing dinosaurs. He doesn't just put all of his strength into it - he puts all of his sins into it, absolving himself of his past, leaving him as he was before he received the Blades of Chaos. That's Kratos as he really is, beneath all of the godly items and magics and curses and Hope.and what would Link be without his magic items and power? just another elf? It's not "just his skill" - you're ignoring the fact that the blades themselves are immense sources of power, and are not just normal blades. They're magical, flaming blades meant specifically to tear through flesh in ways that normal blades cannot.if you give those magical Blades to some random guy that doesnt know how to use them, you wont get the same results when you give them to Kratos. Even if he didn't know how to use them, just carrying them means he's tapped into enormous stores of power, the likes of which makes him comparable to the mythological version of Theseus in terms of strength.Just because you aquire Blades of Chaos doesnt mean you can automaticly learn how to use them in 2 seconds. you need to have some experience with weapons first. Unfortunately no, the Cronos card doesn't work for two reasons: firstly, Kratos has the pwoer of Hope in that fight, please, for the love of god, dont use that ''Hope'' crap anymore even if he's not aware of it. Secondly, Link fought two giant monster worms bigger than Cronos in Majora's Maskhmmm, that sounds interesting, can i see the gameplay video of it? - he did this using the Giant's Mask, so that he himself grew to the size of Cronos.Aha, you see, Kratos didnt grow to a size of Cronos when he fought him, but that doesnt matter, my point is Link ONCE AGAIN used something to defeat someone. Link seems to have every possible item for every possible enemy .....You don't know what 'Hope' is? You didnt' play God of War 3?! Go play it! Go play it now! That game is awesome. No, Link isn't a normal guy, like I said before. Link is still a guy who kills giant fire-breathing dinosaurs - with no magic, mind - and throws around boulders bigger than he is - again, with no magic. Even without any equipment, Link is monstrously strong. |

Why would we say elves are "more advanced"? I'm just saying that when he's ten, Link was running around - with no magic - killing giant fire-breathing dinosaurs. He's a bad-ass. That's all I'm saying.
Link without his magic items and power, as I said at the end of my last post, "is still a guy who kills giant fire-breathing dinosaurs - with no magic, mind - and throws around boulders bigger than he is - again, with no magic. Even without any equipment, Link is monstrously strong"
Well obviously you don't get the same results, but they'd still be al ot stronger and a lot more dangerous and they'd probably learn how to use them. Hell, knowledge of their use may be intrinsic to the weapon itself, since Kratos instantly knew how to do a surgical decapitation from ten paces away with the same things.
Kratos knew how to use them automatically, so you may actually be wrong here.
Dude, I'm not making up this "hope" shit, go play God of War III for yourslf. If you don't, then you don't have the perspective necessary to have this conversation. It's the power that allowed Kratos to kill every single god and titan that he killed, period.
This guy is terrible at it, but here:
One interesting thing to note here is that Link isn't actually slowed down by his increase in mass - he still swings his sword at the same speed and with the same rapidity as if he were only four feet tall.
And yes, I suppose he does, but so does Kratos.
Also uh... Link isn't an elf.
I mean in ocraina of time that's the whole point. They think he's an elf but he isn't... and he grows normally in the 10 years that pass.

This isn't actually an argument! You are not making an argument! The Magic Cape works the way it works! Letsdance even allowed the use of the Triforce explicitly. And at what point do you suggest Kratos be used, canonically, that would give him access to this stuff? |
Actually the amount of people who has explained why and how including me .. Leads me to now leave this topic. I have wasted enough time and if you wanna keep wabbling around in it then by all means go ahead.
I've grown tired of repeating myself. I have better things to do.
What is stopping Kratos from getting the triforce from gannon first. And then taking whatever he needs from link? Link is a badass. But Kratos is more badass.
And comparing the two with everything they have ever had is stupid. But I still think kratos would win. because he gets items that gives him unlimited health. Thus he cannot die.
This should have been a poll. Lol.
Oh no. Kratos vs Link with all items to each ever = a draw. It seems they both could not die.
But any normal Kratos vs any normal Link. Kratos would win.
