Letsdance insists that the fact that enemies can't hit Link while he can hit them is a programming error.

Its been debunked but Kas is too thick headed to admit it. yes, link can become invincible. Yes, link is immune to attacks... AT WILL. The game before LttP Link didn't take any damage from bombs. Why? I don't know but how do I know the devs didn't just have the same reason for not putting in damage with the cape... I think it would have been too hard for them being that the game was 2d and it was suppose to also let you walk through walls at will. They just made it so that when the cape was selected it was "willed" Anyway... in this instance we need to use logic (If we ignore it than Kratos dies automatically for going out of bounds) And logic tells us if he is able to hit he is able to get hit... I would say link can go through kratos and then attack from the inside... but that still leaves him open for a counter.

Too bad. Is part of the game, is part of link´s weaponary, and like he said, he can use every single weapong in every single game, Link wins.
