Forums - Sony - Without a doubt in my mind Kratos would annihilate Link.

Its better arguement then "kratos dies by stepping out of bounds" arguement you have

Except that I addressed that. Canonically this does not happen, ergo it's not part of the discussion. Canonically Link's items work as they do in-game, period.

Fan art is your defense? Ok... link comes across kratos... kratos just mugged link and took all his nifty items link has there. Link says "Wah give me that back bully" kratos laughs and says "I have no problem with you now be gone" Link pees his pants and runs away

That's official art, not fanart.

Well then there goes your argument for 20 different bottles. I see one.

Link could only carry one battle in Legend of Zelda, but you said All Links Combined, remember?

That doesn't mean link would have time to use any of his items. You are acting as if link wills something in his hand he has it. Thats not the case. Your just full of double standards in this arguement though. Admit it. No matter what Link would get obliterated. There is no reason to believe Link would get one hit off on kratos with his boots from hermes. You act as if developers are in the business to make the most accurate game tailored to their world. They are in the business to entertain.

You do realize... there is no world outside of the game right.  The developersM ARE in the buisness to make the most accurate game tailored to their world... because that game IS their world.  Period.

Kratos isn't even on the same power tier...

Zeus from god of war would get abiliterated by the Marvel Zeus or Odin.

And the Scarlet Witch could remove them all from existence with LESS than a blink of an eye, but I digress.

You very much overestimate pretty much every aspect of links strength, and how the only weapon which can even truly harm Kratos. As a god he never truly 'dies' since in order to die in greek mythology your soul is removed from your physical form.

So unfortunately whilst Kratos' would be constantly transported the the underworld, if he were to lose. Then he would just return. I'm pretty sure this was a fight to the death so you can't say Kratos loses if he has to come back. Or is Zeus still the winner at the end of God of War III?

Also since Kratos is a god, if he were to actually, permanently die. His soul would still exist and he'd be intangible like Athena, and like Link with his cape on... as you know Athena can still, somehow interact with the tangible but not be hurt by the tangible (although she does suggest that she can be hurt by the blade of olympus, this isn't proved).

Oh yeah, people really need to relax and realize that just because someone is out of someone elses league it doesn't make the character you like worse.  These are fun things to analyze, though I don't get why people take things so seriously.

Kratos is quickly becoming the videogame version of Wolverine.  The "But he can't die" arguement is often used as to why more powerful people couldn't beat wolverine too... so it kinda makes me chuckle.

And Link has killed more than Kratos. I'm done with you. No matter what you are going to THINK you are right. You aren't. You act as if link has these things in a flash of an eye. He doesnt. Link would get brutalized.

You act as if the devs are infallible. They aren't. Link even with the combo you use wouldnt win... yet you don't acknowledge that. The magic would last 3 days. That is if he uses it before kratos allows him to.. which he wouldn't.

Kratos is stronger than Link with his gauntlets.

Kratos is faster than link

Kratos is more agile than link

Kratos is just as smart as link

Kratos is more brutal than link

Please tell me you aren't getting your greek mythology from God of War.

Dude... you aren't even trying to look at things rationally at this point... though you also think game developers make millions of dollars...

Compare Ganon to Zues from god of War.

Zues wouldn't stand a chance.

Do I? Let's do the math on this.

A conservative estimate on the size of one of the pillars that Link is able ot throw with the Golden Gauntlets is that it has a radius of two meters and a height of ten meters - again, I'm being conservative here, the things are enormous. Let's pretnd they're made out of quartz.

If they're that big, then they have a volume of about 125 cubic meters, ignoring the protrusions on the top and the bottoms - and since granite weighs.... 2691 kilos per cubic meter, that means Link is able to deadlift 336,375 kilos, or 336 metric tons. He's also able to then pick it up and then throw it at least one hundred meters. The amount of force he's capable of exerting are absolutely mind-blowing, and I don't want to do the math on how much force he's actually able to exert.

You said "to the death". If Kratos dies and then comes back, he still lost the fight that's to the death.

Kratos hasn't been a god since the beginning of GoW2. Again: have you played the games?

So, if there is no possible outcome than yours, why bother arguing?
