Forums - Sales - Which companies are cutting price this year?

Nintendo hasnt cut price yet, do you think this year will happen? i need wii by the time last story comes out, but there is really no reason for nintendo to cut the price since the wii still sell much more then its competitors.

MS is no longer selling more than sony WW, will they cut the price or the new approach is to add value by introducing natal and bundling it at the current price?

Sony is still the way behind in comulative sells and they have the most expensive console, some of its competitiors have a lot of room to cut price, also they need to gaing ground in NA to be in a good position when next gen starts, will sony cut price this year to remain competive?

What do you guys think, who will cut the price this year?

they might not cut the price but they might just bundle in PS Move with the PS3 and sell it for $300

The Wii did cut price, it WAS $249, now it's $199.

My prediction is 360 will cut price causing a price cut ripple effect, similar to last year with the PS3.

i don't think anybody will. the onlyone that should is sony. so they can sell more units. but i think they will bundle. some great bames instead.

Nintendo will likely bundle Wii Sports + Wii Sports resort into the one system and they will also possibly integrate Wii Motion+ into a lighter standard Wiimote for the original price which taken together is effectively about a $70 price cut.

Tease.

I also think Nintendo will go the route they've gone in Europe over here in the U.S. and start bundling in WSR as well as WS into the Wii and not cut price.

Bah!

all of them will by another 50 bucks

No i can see ms just using Natal.

Wii actual price cut no, it is still strong and they have a hell of a summer line up to boost it more.

PS3 not anytime soon they are doing good sells at the moment. Perhaps when Move comes out?

Xbox Could be just the lack of Xbox talk on this site that I have come acrossed, but I am unaware of anything expect Alan Wake coming out for them this year. So perhaps yes. Also when Natal comes out perhaps a yes.

@Games4Fun

You're missing the big ones. Halo Reach and Fable 3.
