what battle system is your favorite in a jrpg ?

my friend thx for the kind words.  ill tell ya what i could live off of rpgs especially jrpgs if this was the only genre left standing.  im not understanding the hate that SOI is getting also so far im loving what ive played so far.

I like the FF13 battle system the most.

Then FF10 battle system.

what feature of dark cloud 2, was your favorite ?
mine would be the new town building aspect, much more involved than the 1st game. u have a ton of choices u could make with the way your town would look. was fun for me

ITs so amazing, sleeper hit of the generation for me, crawled into my Ps3 Top 10....14 hours in & I've only finished 3% ROFLMAO!

But I don't know why people are calling it an RPG....but as they are I'm posting about it in this thread!

completely agree the new building aspect was amazing; i really wish level 5 would do make a part 3.  if i could switch gears a bit back to VC this is the only RPG this generation that actually feels like an RPG.  from great characters, lose, discovery, great courage.  idk i loved both FF13, and ME 2 but neither game felt like a true rpg to me.  what do you think?

Because it has some traditional RPG elements like leveling up, random encounters, sidequests, exploration, etc. Nice to see you're enjoying the game.

@tinybigman108, vc is a very good game with great replay value and content. i think the only game i would classify as a jrpg this gen is not on the ps brand systems ( lost odyssey ).
