hi, everyone i am starting this thread for just the playstation family of systems. too talk about rpg's that have come and gone ranging from the ps1 to the ps3. i will try to keep this thread going for as long as i am able too. hope anyone who loves this genre and plays them mainly on the ps brand will post and give their opinion.

     this is the game that i would like too start with thread with, and i know some ppl didnt like this game for various reasons, but i enjoyed it alot. the reason i enjoyed this game so much, is because it continued the story of tidus and yuna. i like the change up for the battle system with changing outfits ( jobs via the dress spehere ). the % based , made me wana do everything and get everything because i wanted that damn 100% completion for the game. the cgi scenes were as always very well done and the music was something i enjoyed as well. also dungeon at the end of the game, was a very good challenge for hardcore jrpg fans, if u couldnt get the break damage limit to work, which was a glitch i found in different copies of the game. if u couldnt get that too work forgot about trying that dungeon , because u would get your butt handed too u. the 3 different ending's u could get in the game based on your % completed was something that made u wana do more, i found that i liked the "good ending" the best, the bad ending sucked i thought and the perfect ending was ok.

so what does everyone else think about this game for the 1st topic of discussion ?

OK, FFIX is the best damn FF on any Playstation and Kingdom Hearts 2 is mega-ultra-epic-incredible-awesome-sauce.

I played it for a couple of hours and I got bored really fast. It might be because I started it right after being done with FFX (which took me around 100 hours). I should have taken a break between both games. Maybe I'll try it again one day.

@boutros, i think if u give it a try now. u might like it more.

Oh, and FFX-2 is a decent game.

I did really like FFX-2's battle system. It was an interesting twist on the ATB formula and XIII definitely borrows elements from it.

I think the FFX-2 team designed FF13.

i remembering playing the ffx-2 demo in the official playstation magazine, still have that demo disk.

The best RPG on PlayStation Systems in FFXIII, followed closely by FFX, followed closely by Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion

And just to annoy dtewi, FF8 is an awesome game!

oh FFX-2 is good, but just good for a FF game (semi main series) isn't good enough I'm afraid. Loads of elements put me off this game, for one thing imo they destroyed Yuna :(

Yuna's better here in this game.

And she's a over-hyper, bubble-headed schizophrenic in this game.
